Welcome to Rob's website.

In February 2007 I went on a two-day woodturning course run by Styles & Bates in Dover, UK.

This site tells you a little about my first ventures into woodturning and shows some of the first things I've made.

This is partly for the interest of family and friends, but I realise that due to the wonders of Google it may just reach a few people who also fancy trying their hand at woodturning and maybe I can provide a bit of inspiration!

Obviously after such a short period the work I produce is definitely in the 'beginner' category and there are lots of people out there that produce work that puts mine to shame. But sometimes it's nice to see some basic examples that are less daunting for other beginners.
